I was raised in Palolo Valley, Hawaii until my family moved to the mainland in northern California. As a young boy I would pass downtown Waikiki and see these guys in great shape surrounded by beautiful women, living such a cool lifestyle. I wanted to be that guy living this "cool dream."
Trying to find a sport I truly had a passion for, I started wresting for many years and even wrestled in college until I dropped everything and completely changed my life. I started going to the gym more, being stricter with my eating and taught myself how to play beach volleyball through reading books and watching YouTube videos.
Today, I am a professional volleyball player by never giving up, pursuing my passion, and letting nothing stand in my way of my dreams. I am also a proud Polynesian and wear my heritage on my arm in the form of a tattoo. My tattoo creates what is called a "Mana" (spiritual power). I wear this with honor and respect of representing my culture in the best way I can and bringing some flare to the world of beach volleyball.
